Research suggests that that wooden window frames have the lowest embodied carbon of any moderns window material at just 85kg CO²e compared to uPVC windows at 110kg CO²e and aluminium windows at 161kg CO2e. This means that if you are looking to become carbon neatural in your home, timber windows will help dramatically towards this.
As well as being 100% FSC in all thier products, Bereco also donate £1 for every door they sell to the World land Trust. FSC 100% means that Bereco have a full chain of custody on all of thier products. This gives you full peace of mind that you are buying a timber window that has come from a sustainable source.
Bereco also offer a full 10 year manufacturer warranty on all of thier products which we of course pass on to our customers. Bereco also offer a 30 year warranty on the rot and fungal of the timber itself. This is an industry leading manufacturers warranty which we are proud about giving to our customers.
